Classic mohair with long fibres are still very popular. Vienna is a warm and soft yarn that can be used all year. The yarn has a light center thread on the the light colors and a black tie wire on the dark colors. The tie wire in polyester is twisted around the long-haired mohair fibers and makes the yarn durable. It also prevents shedding and to hold shape well.
