DROPS Merino Extra Fine is spun from the finest and softest Merino wool. The cable spin makes stitches defined and creates a light and even result. DROPS Merino Extra Fine is ideal for structured patterns such as cables and moss stitch. The wool is super-wash treated and therefore washes well and suitable for everyday use. The characteristics of Merino are softness, volume, flexibility and a neat end result. Because of these qualities the yarn is especially suitable for baby and children’s garments.

Garments knitted in DROPS Merino Extra Fine do not irritate the skin, is resistant to frizzing, and very comfortable to wear. This makes DROPS Merino Extra Fine an ideal choice for baby garments. With regard to the colours we take great care to create the right shades. On top of the classic colours we have included some exclusive mixes. Soft pastel mixes will dominate the colour chart. 

It is worth noticing that DROPS Merino Extra Fine and Karisma do not overlap, but complement and support each other. Compared to Karisma, which is a rougher, more sporty quality ideal for outdoor wear, DROPS Merino Extra Fine is a softer, exclusive quality, more suitable for the more fashionable designs and for everyday use.

Because of DROPS Merino Extra Fine’s softness and special qualities (the yarn is spun from many, fine strands), larger garments may lose its elasticity and original shape. It is therefore very important to adhere to the knitting tension. When washing garments only use detergents free of enzymes and optical bleach and never use fabric conditioner. After wash shape the garment and leave to dry flat.
