DROPS Lima is a continuation of our great success and bestseller DROPS Nepal. The quality has been further developed into a 4-ply sport yarn, which advantageously can be used for outdoor garments like classic Norwegian sweaters and sports wear, that usually have to be knitted tighter for the best shape stability. This hard wearing and durable quality is combined with the lovely and comfortable properties that the alpaca contributes. A sport yarn with a little more luxury!
Lima consists of 35% alpaca and 65% wool and has a wonderful and luxurious look. A 4-ply yarn is more durable since it spun more. Lima may also be used for felting as it’s not Superwash treated, and the result is super. DROPS Lima can be used in both yarn group B and C. Garments from yarn group B will provide more solid and very durable garments, while the garments from yarn group C, will provide more loose and comfortable garments.
