I looked at the calendar and realized we will be wearing sweaters in three months. What? Yep, sweater weather is only three months away and could actually come sooner, this is Wisconsin ya know. That means it's time to think about our Knit Alongs (KAL for short). I thought I had my mind made up last spring but you know us knitters, we can't help but keep looking at new patterns. The goods news for you, because I can't make up my mind; you will have two choices.
Choice #1
Drops Desgin 112-8 or 112-9 in Adult or Child size

This is the KAL model that I decided to knit first, I started it last night and I am already 5" up the body and only have 5" more to go until I can change needle size and see the shaping happen. The yarn used is
Drops Alpaca held with
Drops Kid-Silk. You could subsititue a single strand of
Drops Alaska or
Drops Nepal. I really like the light weight feel of the Alpaca combined with the Kid-Silk. Using the Alaska or Nepal will work but it will give a heavier denser fabric.
Here are some of my favorite versions from
ravelry.com
